NOTE: Units should be tested BEFORE installation to ascertain if any damage may have occurred in transit to avoid installing a potentially damaged unit.
NOTE:
The resistor board assemblies on fuel modules are fragile, care should be taken not to drop the module or put unnecessary pressure on the float arm or the resistor board unit. Boards can crack and not be easily visible to the naked eye.
Fuel level sensors are tested before they are packaged for shipment at our location. It's necessary they be tested by the installer just prior to installation to be certain no damage occurred while in transit.
Using an OHM meter connect leads to the two center pins on the plug. There should be an approximate 180-200 Ohm spread from low to high.
Note: These vented units are equipped with roll over valves, do not overfill tank.
Module comes as shown with no other accessories.
For 98-04 Dodge Ram only, fuel gauge will not read properly if used on pre 1998 applications,

This unit does not have a pump inside.
